About Me

Dr. Prablek grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Princeton University. He went on to earn his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, before completing his Neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Minimally Invasive and Complex.

Spine Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Prablek has extensive research experience in spine surgery, neurosurgical outcomes, pediatric neurosurgery, and neuro-oncology. His work has been published in leading journals such as Neurosurgery, Neurologic Clinics, Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine, and Child’s Nervous System. He has also authored book chapters on complex spine reconstruction and perioperative management in pediatric neurosurgery. In addition, he has presented at national meetings including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), and the Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves. In his free time, Dr. Prablek enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with his wife and son.
