We put an emphasis on preventive care to ensure you catch any problems early. Many of the health concerns women face are easily diagnosed and treatable. Some of the common conditions our Gynecologists treat include infections, menstrual discomfort, urinary incontinence and gynecological disorders such as endometriosis. If you need treatment, we work with you to determine the most effective course of action. We also provide surgical treatments, including minimally invasive procedures such as robotic hysterectomy and uterine fibroid removal.
If you are pregnant, please click on the "Obstetrics" button or search for a physician who serves obstetric (OB) patients.
About Me
Dr. Sendukas was raised in Houston before training led her to almost every major city in Texas. After obtaining her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Austin, she moved to San Antonio for medical school at UT Health. She then completed OB/GYN residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland where she was an Administrative Chief Resident. Returning to Houston, she completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) at Baylor College of Medicine.
She is very excited to now be at the University of Texas Medical Branch where she will be joining the Department of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery as an Assistant Professor. She specializes in both laparoscopic and robotic assisted surgery centered on treating gynecologic conditions such as fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis and ovarian cysts in a minimally invasive fashion. She is passionate about both the medical and surgical treatment of endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain.
Outside of work, Dr. Sendukas enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading a good book, hiking/backpacking adventures, live music, and Texas Longhorn football.
