About Me
Dr. Mahwish Khan earned her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. She then completed her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in San Antonio, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at UT Health San Antonio.
After completing her training, Dr. Khan joined as faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), where she currently serves as an Assistant Professor. Her clinical focus is on pediatric weight management and obesity, and she treats both simple and complex cases of pediatric obesity. Dr. Khan is also an active collaborator with the Bright Bodies Program at UTMB, a structured lifestyle intervention aimed at supporting pediatric weight management.
