About Me

Rana Ghazaly, M.A., LPC is a licensed professional counselor specializing in pediatric mental health care. She works closely with children and their families to support emotional growth, strengthen relationships, and build practical coping skills that extend beyond the therapy room. Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rana helps children better understand and manage their emotions while guiding parents in reinforcing these skills at home.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each child’s unique needs, integrating evidence-based techniques with a culturally responsive, family-centered perspective. Rana believes that parents are essential partners in the therapeutic process and provides coaching to help caregivers feel confident and supported in nurturing their child’s well-being.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Rana is committed to making high-quality mental health care accessible and inclusive. She is especially passionate about empowering children with strong social-emotional foundations that foster resilience, confidence, and lifelong success.

Patient Reviews

Why do some clinicians have no ratings?
At UTMB, a clinician's ratings are only posted when she/he has a minimum of 30 completed surveys within the past twelve months. New-to-UTMB clinicians or individuals in less common areas of practice may be temporarily under this threshold. We set this baseline to ensure we offer the most accurate reflection of each Individual.
