  • Dr. Colman is the John Sealy Distinguished Centennial Chair in the UTMB Department of Radiation Oncology. He came to UTMB to chair the Department of Radiation Oncology in 1996. Before coming to Galveston, Dr. Colman was with the University of California, Irvine where he received the title of Emeritus Professor. He is a member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians & Surgeons and a graduate of the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Dr. Colman has extensive training in both radiation oncology and nuclear medicine, and his area of expertise is in prostate cancer. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology and the American College of Radiology.
