About Me
Dr. Lauren Raimer-Goodman was born on Galveston Island and grew up as part of the UTMB family. She officially joined UTMB Health in October 2011. After completing her undergraduate work at Wake Forest University, she attended Baylor College of Medicine where she received her medical degree in 2008. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Texas Children's Hospital in 2011.
Dr. Raimer-Goodman is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Texas Medical Association. She has a special interest in pediatric advocacy and global health. Her husband, Dr. Michael Goodman, is a researcher in public health with a focus on social epidemiology and global health. They have two delightful children whom they adore.
Clinically, Dr. Raimer-Goodman has many interests including infants, breastfeeding, asthma, allergies, acne, eczema and other skin disorders, sports related injuries, healthy eating and much more.
