Dr. Luis Pacheco is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Pacheco specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Critical Care and Maternal Fetal Medicine. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Anesthesiology Exam/ABOG-Critical Care Medicine. His clinical interest includes critical care medicine and medical complications of pregnancy. His research interest is in Critical Care in Pregnancy.
Dr. Pacheco received his medical degree from the University of Costa Rica in San Pedro de Montes de Oca, Costa Rica. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He also completed fellowships in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Anesthesia Critical Care at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.
Dr. Pacheco is Best Doctor in America inductee for several years and is a recipient of the Leonard A. Charpentier, M.D. Award for Excellence in Resident Education among many other honors.
