Dr. Richardson is an Assistant Professor in the Gynecologic Oncology Division of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She currently holds the Frances Eastland Professorship in Gynecologic Oncology. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTMB as well as a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. Her last year of fellowship training was spent at MD Anderson due to Hurricane Ike. She then accepted a faculty position as a Gynecologic Oncologist at UTMB.

She performs and teaches both minimally invasive and complex open surgeries for patients with gynecologic malignancies. She is passionate about teaching the next generation of physicians and her educational philosophy arises from her approach to clinical care, where she works to help patients heal, even when cure is not possible.
