Dr. Sharon Sanchez serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the League City Campus Urgent Care Clinic. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas - Pan American (now known as University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) and medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2012, where she later served as Chief Resident. Dr. Sanchez is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics.
Dr. Sanchez has been active in student and resident education. She has been recognized for her teaching excellence with the Pediatric Educator Award for Excellence in Residency Education and Golden Rattle Award.
Dr. Sanchez enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 2 daughters. They enjoy traveling together.
