Amanda M. Dunn, LCSW is a Mental Health Clinician in the Division of Pediatrics-Psychology and Pediatrics Specialist in the Department of Pediatrics. She received her Master of Social Work from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI in 2005. Mrs. Dunn completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN.
Mrs. Dunn specializes in providing counseling services to children and adolescents, and their families, in various areas of mental health needs including depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, mood disorders, adjustment issues, adoption/foster care, and anger management.
Before joining UTMB in 2015, she was a Social Worker with McKesson providing case management and consultation services to disabled children and adults. Her previous therapy services have been provided in outpatient, school, and home-based settings. Mrs. Dunn is licensed through the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, traveling and spending time with her family.
