About Me
Dr. Moffett is an Assistant Professor in the UTMB Health Department of Surgery.
Dr. Jennifer Moffett grew up in southwestern Louisiana and graduated from Tulane University. She relocated to Houston, TX, and received her master’s degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Molecular Virology and Microbiology. After several years of doing research for a start-up biotech company and for Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, she returned to Baylor College of Medicine to complete her medical school education. She then completed her residency in General Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and Ben Taub General Hospital.
Dr. Moffett is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
In her free time, Dr. Moffett enjoys crafting, traveling with her husband, and chasing after her ever-energetic son.
