  • Dr. Glover is a native of northeast Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Texas in Austin, TX. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He completed his internship at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and his residency training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Following his fellowship training at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI, he later pursued an additional Master of Business Administration degree at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.

    He served on Active Duty in the United States Air Force for over 12 years and then transitioned into private practice to Jackson, TN and then moved to Flagstaff, AZ to join Northern Arizona Orthopaedics. During his 16 years in Arizona, he assumed many leadership roles at Flagstaff Medical Center to include Chairman of the Department of Surgery and also of the Orthopaedic Surgery and Neurosurgery Division. He served on many hospital committees to include pharmacy and therapeutics, credentialing and medical executive. He had the honor and privilege of serving as the medical staff president for 2016. Prior to joining UTMB in 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, he also had the unique experience of working on the insurance side of healthcare as a medical director which provided valuable insights into this aspect of care delivery.

    He has been a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon since 1996 and is licensed to practice medicine in Arizona, Tennessee and Texas. He has been a Fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Member of the North American Spine Society since 1998. He is also a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership. His areas of clinical interest include spinal degenerative diseases and deformity as well as spinal trauma and infection. He has clinical expertise in adult spinal reconstructive surgery using various open and minimally invasive techniques as well as total disc arthroplasty.

  • Dr. Christine Nguyen is a podiatric medicine and surgeon with extensive training in elective and reconstructive surgeries of the foot.   • Dr. Chanel Perkins is a native Houstonian. She graduated from Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions, fueling an early interest in medicine and health care. She went on to complete her undergraduate education at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Perkins later attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH, where she received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine.

    Dr. Perkins completed a three-year comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. During her final year of training, she served as Section Chief Resident. While at Yale, Dr. Perkins received extensive training in elective, trauma, and reconstructive surgery. A significant focus of her training was the multidisciplinary approach towards diabetic limb salvage and diabetic wound care.

    Dr. Perkins is a current member of several professional organizations including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatry Medical Association, Mary Susan Moore Medical Society, and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Houston, Incorporated and also Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.   • Dr. Namita Bhardwaj is a native Houstonian. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin where she completed her undergraduate coursework in biology and earned her Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Arts. She went on to attend Ross University to complete her medical education and to earn her MD.

    Dr. Bhardwaj completed her family medicine residency at UT Health in Houston, TX. She served as chief resident in her final year of training and was recognized as an outstanding PGY 3 resident and awarded the Scholarly Achievement Award. Dr. Bhardwaj then went on to pursue her fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in El Paso. There she served as team physician for several of the local teams including the El Paso Rhinos, University of Texas at El Paso Division I Sports teams, as well as area high schools covering a wide array of sports.

    In her role at UTMB, Dr. Bhardwaj serves as the medical director for Galveston ISD. You can always find her and her team of residents and students on the sidelines at Ball High School football games. Dr. Bhardwaj's scholarly interests include opioids and sports related injuries.   • Dr. Ronald W. Lindsey is Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Medical in Galveston, Texas. During the final year of his residency in 1993, Dr. McDonald did a spinal fellowship in Royal Adelaide Hospital, South Australia. He also flew on the Life Flight program with Dr. Red Duke in 1988.

    Dr. McDonald entered private practice as a general Orthopaedic Surgeon in Angleton in August 1993. Dr. McDonald serves as team physician for the Angleton High School, and travels to Nicaragua annually to volunteer his services as a physician and surgeon.
